Days and Months leading up
One of my favorite memories was having a daily conversation about all of the wedding events with Jaya on g-chat. I would always sign on hoping Jaya was on and more often than not, she always was! I'd like to think that most of life's challenges, including wedding planning are solved on g-chat.
We talked about everything from flight times/dates for the bachlorette party (we actually booked our tickets while on g-chat), adding pictures and ideas to the Pinterest board, what kind of make up style we liked, hair, nails, Shovaen's suit, just about anything and everything!
Wedding Day
I'll be honest, I have no recollection of waking up on that morning but one thing is for sure, I WAS READY TO PARTY!!!!
I had all of the kids clothes packed and ready for when Raoul dropped them off at his parents house. BYE, KIDS!!!!!!!!!
I made a checklist to make sure I didn't forget anything. Bridesmaid sari, check. Shoes, check. Jewelry, check. Advil (for hangover), check. Reception outfit, check. Sheena's famous dance moves, check.
After all of us finished getting ready with hair and make up on the morning of the wedding, Shovaen came up to the bridal suite to take a romantic hidden photo with Jaya. It was so sweet! All of us bridesmaids stared at them in awe. After a few minutes, Jaya turned to us and asked that we stop staring cause we were starting to be creepy.
Hands down, one of the best weddings ever...other than mine of course!! LOL :)
Happy Anniversary, guys!!! Love you!!!
