Mike & Amanda

It was nostalgic landing in DFW again after being away for so long. When we first arrived at the hotel, we decided to check out the hospitality suite; what luck, it was right as Shovaen showed up! It was great to catch up with you when there was so much stuff going on! We had a blast at the Sangeet; never one to shy away from dancing, Amanda joined the circle.

Of course it was just a matter of time before I was "invited" to join as well, but I had a bang-up time dancing with sticks (pun intended). I definitely made a few mistakes, but at least I followed the advice of "join and leave in pairs" which appeared to be the downfall of many a dance line.

The morning of the wedding, Amanda and I joined C4 and Raimy for Whiskey Cake. The wedding itself was amazing, so many things going on, it's hard to recount them all. It was great to see a lot of old friends, watch cool skits and dances, see videos for (and of!) the wedding, eat delicious delicious Indian food, and catch a glimpse of Darth Vader just before clocking out (we were on the sleep schedule of our 6-month-old at the time).

Thanks for having us and congratulations on your anniversary!
