What can I say about the weekend, it was a wonderful blur of everything.
The most memorable thing I recall was when Jaya realized she was marrying a Gujurati. Right before our cue to walk to the mandap, her upper lip collected sweat and she without warning took off running in her lehgha barefoot, down the hallway, out of the front entrance of the Intercontinental Hotel (formerly the Grand Kapinski) and broke out into a full Usain Bolt sprint onto the service road for Dallas North Tollway. Me and Priya took chase after her while Kayal Instagrammed the entire ordeal, Esha yelled commands and told her dokla is not THAT bad of a snack, and Rupal called Tik for emotional backup. After a U-Turn to the north-bound direction of the road and a few NFL style jukes we cornered and tackled Jaya at the patio dining area of In-and-Out Burger directly into a pile of animal fries. While covered in minced onions, cheese and animal sauce, Jaya sobbed and gave up the struggle. Priya punched her in the face and I threw water on her and told her to snap out of it. We sang a few verses of some Falguni Pathak songs, danced around in a circle as she collected herself. She then took a deep breath and said she would happily embrace her new life of dandiya, kachori and a child named Jignesh. We dragged her back to the bridal party holding room, we had a Fanta and some spicy mixture that an aunty who was helping with saris had in her sparkly purse, and things cooled down. 5 minutes later they called for Jaya to enter the mandap, and down the walkway we went. The ceremony was beautiful, we all cried, it was unforgettable.

TOTALLY KIDDING.
Every time Robby would try and pick up Shovaen.
When I tried to go elegant Aunty mode
Then went Kerala jungle aunty mode because I got excited about the jump ropes
Then I cried like a damn loser
And I cried some more like a big ass loser
Everyone had dirt or mehndi on their feet, it was pretty awesome/gross/awesome
I cant remember whose foot this was, but it was a direct result of mehndi night
Probably one of the only pictures we took that weekend because I was trying to soak it up as much as possible but also because the pictures looked like they stressed out jaya lol, so kept those to a minimum, but this one was perfect.
THIS IS THE BEST. This was my favorite moment from the wedding, just us hanging out in the morning when everything was over and there wasnt anything to worry about except later when nobody could find Shovaen's watch, but then later we did. Just a simple little time where there was no pending event we had to rush to, no makeup to relayer and slather on, no curls to respray, just a moment of chill and happiness. And the best part was this is when you guys felt married, first day of life together, just THE BEST.
Less glamorous but most realistic picture of the morning after. Little shirtless bubba and us managing to sport the same makeup from the night before. I cant remember exactly what we were talking about, just recapping the night, but this was again one of the more perfect moments in time, cuddled up in blankets and booboos
More bubba cuddling that Sunday morning, just the best.
This was the food as documented by Whatsapp group, just thought it should be known was a healthy ass heffa plate of food that was and because nowhere do you get to see pictures of the food
This was RIGHT after the ceremony where Survam, standard Survam move, got like 50 or 100 chicken wings and they ate them in the lobby, so I ran by and snuck a few in with the cuties then ran back
Just sneaking some food
Papa John being a cute malu ass guest with his little coconut and Diabetes causing desserts that he's not supposed to have <3
Circles do enough explaining here
Drunk ass RObby doing Mehndi
Nobody should have trusted him.
Haiii, looking so gud in your haldi, so bright and adorable.
Quick adjustment of that damn skirt and chunni that was like 10000 pounds and took heaven and earth to secure. Look at Jaya's sexy ass bollywood stomach tho, hayyy.
There was Basmatic Rice, let it be known.
